I think Polar lights make one as well.   I also downloaded the plans for the Slo Motion,  another Billing's kit.  I was going to make the M&M boat using them,  if the admiral liked it.  she didn't though........too bad!  it would have been a racing boat,  rather than the Fun Ship.   anyway,  I could use those plans..........of course I'd have to modify it,  so it would have a twin cockpit.     I'm thinking old school...Batman and Robin.

Shark Boat/Bat Boat...certainly on an animal theme, there. Personally, I really like the last pic...now that'd be a really fun build!

just a bit too futuristic for me....if it was a plastic kit,  that would be one thing.   I did 'Keaton's'  batmobile........pretty bland being a black car with fins 

 

how about depth charges Bob..........would that be worth it

You've done it Denis, she's completed and she really doesn't need any further additions mate, to add more I think would be to overdo her.

 

You don't need me to go into superlatives but I will say that you have earned each and every one during the life of this log.

 

All have enjoyed this journey with you and the A.G. and you have finished up with a beautiful, imaginative and lovely boat.

I'm sorry to say that my plans for George Clooney.......is a bust.   apparently,  the 'ole boy is too busy for the likes of me.     Sorry Frank......I tried 

 

on another note...........not that I go there a lot,   but I posted some of my past builds on my Face Book.   I had a few of them on there already,  so I figured that I would add them in.   I also posted the Andrea Gail pictures,  which got some nice reviews...........pleased and proud I was     my friend Tom sent me an e-mail,  letting me know that he had posted the pictures on his Face Book as well.   I was surprised to see that one of the likes was Kent Billing.......I guess I should be glad that he didn't raise a saber citing copyright issues........after all,  she does look quite similar to the billing's finished model.  my only answer to the charge would have pointed out whose practicum I followed.......what did anyone expect the outcome would be?   if anything at all,  it shows how well I can read the instruction sheet.........to discern the big picture from a vague description.  I'm still very pleased to have fed my inner monster

just a short note to let you all know that I finally got a copy of  'the Perfect Storm'.   knowing that there are some errors in the movie itself.....I just let them go by my head......I still think it was a darn good movie.   the opening sequence opened my eyes though......the Hanna Borden and the Andrea Gail looked almost exactly alike!   now,  if the Andrea Gail in the movie, was actually the  'Lady Grace'........then what ship did they use for the Hanna Borden?  two articles that I read had conflicting information in regards to where they were built

Eastern shipyard is located in Panama City Fla.    the second article states that the Andrea Gail and the Lady Grace were built in Ocean City Maryland.   while this may not be too important,  the pictures speak for themselves.

I'm still thinking of rebuilding the Andrea Gail......the real one this time.  in light of this,  who knows.....the Hanna Borden may also be added to the pipe dream......      just depends on how much fun I want to have

thanks Nils.........I finished this one around the same time last year........hard to believe that she's a year old already.  {they grow so quickly}.   she's the result of a spin off hull from the Holiday Harbor project.   there is another one that has left the fold.........I'll be getting to her very soon.  still not sure how she will evolve .....perhaps Forest Gump's shrimp boat?    

 

I take that back........the build was finished in May of 2015!    time really did get away from me!
