    hi all. Made a plan for the case, i will make wood base, then glass all around, and the top frame of the wood. I still considering the plan for lightening. I will leave space in the top for lights. i hope to make them the last. Hope to start working on weekend. have a nice day!

    hi all, long time not been here, since the ship was standing on the shelf for so long, i decided to make a glass cage for it. But still considering the plan for the work. I want to make it from solid wood, with glass from sides. Any advise are welcome. thank you!

    Hello, this is a very delicate build, because all wood is very thin, need to be careful when cutting a gun holes, it is very fragile. It is a nice ship, you will have fun building it. If i build it now, i would ad more colors for the main deck. Good luck!

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
