  1. Mine would be a crumpled ball of card in the bin😂 I'm not that good when getting frustrated 🤬 but card is one of your things and I think you'll pull it off 😉
  2. I don't know if you've already read these but Alexander Kent's Richard Bolitho series are a pretty good read, and the books written under his own name Douglas Reeman
  3. Sorry didn't mention, the forward below deck cabins are looking good!
  4. Oh you must do a build log Kevin, you'll be in excellent company with @Ekis and @Waitoa
  5. Excellent project finished Patrick, you have worked miracles on a kit I built as a child, I didn't put the same amount of detail on it though. It's been an absolute joy to watch. Thankyou😁
  6. I think having authentic odours and aromas drifting out from various parts of the village would be fantastic. I recall a visit to Jorvik Viking Centre with the Admiral and my Daughters too many years ago, they used smells in the recreation of a viking town, bread baking and sawdust amongst the better ones and others I try to forget 🤭
  7. Just a little bit done, the window frames on the skylight have been glued, they'll need sanding when the glue's cured I've given the deck one coat of poly I'll get the platform and ladder sorted next time thanks for the likes and having a look😁 Cheers
  8. The mustard sauce would also be ideal mixed with honey and used as a baste for the hog roast, mmmm crispy crackling
  9. Returning to my Cutter for a bit of relief from the smell of the glue whilst working on my Panther non ship build. There's been change of mind concerning the companion way, instead of a deckhouse I'm just doing a simple coaming and a ladder down to below. Consequently I've cut out the false deck to allow for a platform to set the ladder on. I've still got to tidy the hole up. For some reason macro mode makes the Cedar very yellow. also have cut the small components for one side of the skylight, which is staying. Needless to say this has put back the making of the windlass. Thanks to everyone for your posts and info for said windlass. For the likes and dropping in.... Cheers 🙂
  10. I am the same with roofs, will not go up on mine nowadays, which is a bit embarrassing as I'm a builder and I do customers roof repairs but not my own🤔☺🙄
  11. Apart from holiday flights, the only other "flying" I've done is a paraglide from a mountain in Turkey, a really exhilarating experience 😁 I can understand OCs reluctance as the Admiral gets jelly legs.
  12. I'm in! Rafter hanging.😊 Nice choice Craig
  13. Teasing us and not even a hint. Great car, it's come out absolutely beautiful Craig, I can just about hear the low throaty grumble as it sits idling on the shelf. Very nice work.
  14. Hmmm, following this excellent log has also got my fingers itching, with the plus of Chuck's monograph, I'm definitely considering Cheerful.
  15. Amazing work with the decals Craig, it's going be a superb looking racer!
  16. Welcome to MSW, have fun and basically same as what Mark said. Enjoy.
  17. Excellent margin planks Glenn! It's amazing what one can do when at first glance makes you think "no way, I'll come back to this". I always look forward to seeing your next post.
  18. Hope everything works out for you and you're feeling better. Amazing looking spitfire, looks good as a "yank" plane😉
  19. Thankyou Patrick, although the box of mine says it's an A version the model looks more like the G because mine does not have the armour plates on the flanks.
  20. When it's quiet you can hear rustling as they change from toes to fingers, I personally sling a balloon gondola from two of Jack's sky hooks . I've already got my coat🙄😬
  21. Ooh I'm in on this. Good start Denis, to be perfectly honest I dont recall ever seeing one apart from photos. It looks to be quite a beast!
