  1. Thankyou Patrick, although the box of mine says it's an A version the model looks more like the G because mine does not have the armour plates on the flanks.
  2. When it's quiet you can hear rustling as they change from toes to fingers, I personally sling a balloon gondola from two of Jack's sky hooks . I've already got my coat🙄😬
  3. Ooh I'm in on this. Good start Denis, to be perfectly honest I dont recall ever seeing one apart from photos. It looks to be quite a beast!
  4. It's only a month away so I can occupy myself with either Winnie or my Cutter and getting all the small parts brush painted😉
  5. I like your argument for the acquisition of an airbrush EG, but fear no more my daughter has come good 😁 but I cant have it til my birthday 😪
  6. I'm really looking forward to the graphics/decals going on as it will change it from an excellent looking pimped street car into a thoroughbred competition touring car. Great work and some exceptional painting.
  7. I also found that Craig, it appears that the Sard Supra wheels do not exceed the flare of the arch, maybe it doesn't need wider tyres as the engineers put more of a camber on the wheels as in this internet photo
  8. I think he is referring to the " Carlos Fandango" effect, where race cars tend to have wider wheels at the rear, thereby the tyres protrude past the arches. At least that is my interpretation . Much as on this Castrol supra
  9. Yes I've been doing a bit of googling, so the grey is basically a base coat, the camo will be khaki and sand yellow so maybe some grey will still be seen😌 just so I haven't wasted my efforts painting it grey😂 and the High Command can go hang😆😇 Thanks for signing up Patrick.
  10. No worries OC, I'm with you on the sense of humour. I know my youngest daughter will actually get me an airbrush, hence the link so that I get the one I picked and not some knock off Chinese garbage😉 So on with tank. Made and fitted the wheels which all spin, except the idle wheel, hence having to remove the teeth. I've started to make up the turret and main gun but had to stop as the glue is getting to my head. Wheels aren't being painted as they should look fine with the final finish....hopefully 😬 Thanks to everyone who has dropped by and those who've hit the button 😁 Cheers Edit just realised got the previous post included in this one😶 Sausage fingers are no good on mobile phones 🤨
  11. No worries OC, I'm with you on the sense of humour. I know my youngest daughter will actually get me an airbrush, hence the link so that I get the one I picked and not some knock off Chinese garbage😉
  12. Very droll OC 🤪 My youngest daughter has been informed and sent a link to an airbrush 🤭and it appears one could be coming from Santa for me this year Yep, with Mike's skills I would say it's a forgone conclusion that there will be a Landlubber armour kit coming very soon 🤣
  13. You look like you made the save of the month there OC ! Looking good🙂
  14. You're doing some very nice work with Badger, the stern windows and counter are superb.
  15. Welcome one and all, Mike, if I was you I'd just give in to the force! Watching Craig's car builds is sorely tempting me to spend, spend, spend. At least then I could justify an airbrush 😆🤫
  16. I have been looking but need to get the budget rubber stamped from the Admiral, that said it is Christmas and my birthday next month, maybe....
  17. Nice model Jack, sadly my painting will be old school brush by hand as I don't have an airbrush....yet🤫 I will have to find a way of painting the soft edge camo or a cheap and I mean cheap airbrush
  18. I did play some ACW skirmish scenarios with 15mm figures when I was younger. 15mm because you didn't need a large game table and also only needed 150 to 200 figures per side. The ACW also works well for skirmishing games. The same applied to the Revolutionary War. In respect to re-enactment like OC I would have liked to done ECW but on the parliamentary side as a pikeman. 😏
  19. Good choice, the Connaughts were first through the breach at Badajoz, but if you wanted to ride a horse maybe you could consider the Enniskillen Dragoons. I think with my Scottish heritage I'd be in the 92nd Gordon Highlanders as that is my surname 😉 I'd quite like the kilt😂🙄
  20. Thankyou gentlemen, this is my first ever plastic kit tank, as I only did planes and ships as a kid. Lou, with this I think it maybe the blind leading the blind, luckily we have Jack on hand and EG for his exceptional information
