    Thanks Pat. Your information on the pressure worked well. That 3rd hand ... looks familiar ...? The only thing I need to get beter at is my usage of CA, although, it has gotten slightly better ... less blobs ... at least when you look at the funnel (first thing of the build with hughe blobs) and the tower later build with less enormous blobs

    These were sprayed at 20 psi, trigger pulled half open (thanks Pat) a lot less paint loss And naturally, to keep my finger's dexterity into shape ... PE cutting and folding ... There is more where this came from ........

    Ezy-line is used a lot on model airplanes too. Greg used it on his Dreadnought and Yamato builds, both for rigging and railings. His areal on the former really looks magnificent, I just do not know if it extends 4x its size. By the way, it's available in other colours than black too

    Thanks Dennis. I like the double action on the gravity feed airbrushes, especially with the mesh in the PE. I can blow out the paint which forms a skin over the opening in the mesh. So far I haven't seen a syphon feed with double action. Although I've got a syphon feed type, I never used it. I should have a try with the one I've got even if it is merely for large surfaces or priming ... Yesterday evening I found I had still some additional pieces for the funnel and the barrels on the turrets. Got the knife out and tweezers for another PE session ... don't be afraid, still lots of PE left

    H, Some of us do other things besides modelbuilding, and some don't, but it is a hobby, which means there is no hurry, it should be fun. If it takes another four years, so be it, if it takes longer fine with me. I'll visit when there is an update ... Besides the former, sometimes things happen in someone's life which get his/her attention refocused, we'll just need to accept that. Enjoy MSW at it's own speed. Cheers

    Thanks Ken. I used vallejo air primer (airbrush ready mixture),pressure about 10psi, and use a double action airbrush. I would like to get one with a bigger cup for the quantity I need to prime, right now I keep on filling it: Spray a few items, refill ... and repeat ... I kept about 4" - 6" space between the nozzle and the item, but for the narrow nooks and crannies, for those 2" with low pressure

    I'm glad she hasn't been covered by soot. If you get the inside looking like the outside, you can pat yourself on the back (it's a bit hard from this side of the globe, else I would do the honours)

    Some samples of my priming work, three to four layers each to get it covering the plastic. I'll be adding some dark tones to get some depth in the final layer(s). Right now it is a bit "sterile" (Piet, hope these cause less "anxiety" on your fragile eyes ) Still some more airbrushing to do. Enough practise with this build(!)
