  1. So the figurehead got bumped ... the deck furnishings look pretty good, as does the gun tackles e.a. So what's next ...?
  2. Nice going mon ami. What's the size of the boat. It is a bit hard guessing with your backgrounds and virgin table.
  3. Looks splendid Sam. Your boss is Indian I presume. I especially like the intricacies of those geometric panels behind/around the lamp
  4. Did you have a go at the ships here
  5. She looks like a boat with teeth! Love the hull planking colours. Well done mate
  6. put some tarpauline on top to hide it. If it is glued in ... it could be hard to get it out without damage.
  7. I can't imagine that to be so maaaslo, as the launch is already a ships boat ... besides, you must be a bonsai midget to fit in that at the scale it is ... it doesn't belong in there
  8. It's a pitty you will put her in a bottle. A lot of this wonderful detail will be harder to spot! Cheers
  9. Nice to see you back at it Adrieke. It has certainly been some time. Sorry to hear you have lost your workbench due to the move. Any chance you will get some permanent place to build. Cheers
  10. Very nice work Hartmut, she is showing her future shape, and details. It won't be long before she is all dressed up and ready. Didin't know we Dutch had such colourful boots/yachts, when you look at the paintings from that period, we are wearing such a depressing dress colour
  11. Nah, I'm thinking about a sub (pink?) Working on repairs on some parts of the superstructure like the range finder, and other parts. Doing to much different things at my workbench/desk. Still waiting on some stuff I need so I can continue. Holiday time is a major pain. With phisical shops you'd now if you could get it or not. Nowadays you just have to wait! Parts from downunder take rather long, because of customs here. Your build, however, is going rather smooth. I like the colour the grating. Great contrast. Livens it up considarably. Your seven storied pagoda looks smashing, even with the few parts missing you mentioned
  12. probably a file or a sharpening stone. Sanding sticks tend to run smooth rather quickly ... unless you like to polish
  13. Hmmm, thought about the spaceship version, but I wanted pink wings, which didn't come in the pre coloured kit
  14. Nevertheless, looks good. What shades of grey do you use, or are you applying washes?
  15. Thanks for the heads-up Mr Bunny. I'll stick to the 350 scale. Need to have some space left for another model or two.
