  1. Lovely monestary, interesting drill to get to the coal
  2. Is it a single or double layered hull? If double, you shouldn't mind to much for the first layer, as the second is the visible one. If single, I can understand your sentiments towards the planking
  3. Looks good the bling bling. Did you use a small soft brush to get the goldleaf in the crevices?
  4. If you use a rod to bend it around this requires far less accurate bending in the beginning. The importance is to have a rod slightly undersized, so you can get the ends meet flat-ish
  5. I know you are, you've made that perfectly clear in that log ... abundantly!
  6. darn, gave you the wrong instructions ... should have given the one that let you around in circles ...
  7. at the top of the page press the down arrow besides your avatar. Select 'account settings" which opens a new page, select "signature" In the text input box type "Current build" with the link tool you can add a link. save the signature. Go to the first page of the build log which is your current build.. Copy the text in the address bar. Go back to edit your signature. Use the link symbol (chain in the menu bar) past your address into the upper textfield, and put the name in the lower. That should get you what you want
  8. Pat, Bend the strap around a round bar, oval would be even better. use a piece of metal wire to align the first holes (the ones at both ends) and start pressing it flat together. Starting with a rod, gives you some flexibility in "folding". If you use an undersized rod, the ends will meet and can be flattened already, by using a handtool. Using a small nail or wire makes it possible to align the first hole and press on.
