    Thanks Sherry and Augie, I know now what Sam means...... And Sam ?, I don't have them. The first picture that I opened at that tutorial from Chuck gives me the warning in red...Avoid this !!!!!!!!! So I'm not at the bow yet so....lucky me I have to use drop planks........ Ok. I go back to modelling school and see how I can do this. To be continue !

    What Mark is saying, also counts for me Piet. Especially that the sub is build just around the corner of my house and re - build at the other end of the big pont ! By another Dutchman !!!!!!!! And you've got the skills to do that. Chapeau !!!!!!

    Looks great Rich, I like the idea to put pins into the rail...... Something for me to do when I reach that part. So ,your tools are having secret compartments.......I have to take a look at my tools if they have also something like that!

    Great pictures Theo ! And a fabulous look with all those canons ! You can be proud what you have done ! At least I will........ The left picture of those 2 pictures together with all the cannons in line should be a great avatar....... Or let it magnify and hang it on the wall !

    Popeye, Very nice paint job ! The only thing.....I don't know if this also count for the USA but in Holland, those red and white stripes means...Do not enter ! So nobody can go on board at your Half Moon ?????? But I love it !

    Thanks for the explanation Bindy, I know what you mean. When I take a look at your build, you will do a better job with the planking then I do. It's a matter of sanding and filling ! Then even the worst planking looks amazing ! Even all the members on this forum are writing English, I will teach you one word of Dutch. A lot of members are knowing that all ready....... Pfffffffffffffff Now you know one Dutch word !!!!!!

    thanks Ferit and Bindy, @ ferit, How are you doing ? @ Bindy, I'm demonstrating ???? Maybe how should not to do it.... I'm lucky that it is the first layer so i can do what i want with the planks. You don't see it anymore But I'm pleased how it turns out.

Now you can feed them When the time is there, I will ask for them ! @ Sam, I was looking what you are talking about..... I know that we are different in Holland but we DON'T use a socket as an I-pod ! @ Klaas, In no time you will be further then me. When the hull is closed and sanded, I go back to the Fonz. @ Frank, You can have the mouse any time that you want ! And I don't know what it is...she or he....maybe a it ????? @ Sherry, So far two trees and still have 5 left.....

    Thanks Patrick, Grant and Kevin, @ Patrick, No worries. I have upstairs a long corridor what is high. So I make a shelf where she is gonna be standing with the San Ildefonso. @ Grant, I can not use the mouse for the ratlines I have Gnomes for that !

    Thanks Adriaan, Yes, soon it is filling and sanding. But first I have to close the hull....... For the big parts I use a electrical sanding machine called a mouse. A little handy tool. No pain in de shoulders for me !

    3/4 of the planking is done. On the port side I have used some filler to see how it's gonna be. And it is smooth ! Nice layer for the next planking. Now I can close her and then it is totally filling and sanding. A few pictures to show you.
