Let me see .... The colours are good. That's one ! Second : 0.1 for the ratlines is very thin. Also for the rigging. I'm using 0.25 for the ratlines and 0.40 for the rigging. But that's what I have. Maybe one of the more experience builders can give yo an answer on that.

Thanks Greg and Mark. @ Greg, I was afraid that the deck went to busy with all those treenails. But at the end it turns out well. @ Mark, When the Aggy is back on the shelf, the pictures are still here

Thank you all. Now it is time to answer a few questions...... @ Jim, I'm always in action. Is it not with the SI then it is with the Aggy And how about you ? @ Patrick, I just love the juggling ! I didn't know about the ham and eggs but I like it @ Augie, It is tanyanika wood. But I have put a layer of yacht varnish and then a layer of dull varnish over it as a second layer so you see the grain of the wood but not the shine...... And it is a lot of planking ! Cost me almost 2 weeks to do that. I think it cost me 6 months to plank the hull @ Christian, I drill holes with a drill of 0.7 mm. Then I use filler ( Maranti ) A little sanding and after that yacht varnish over it so you see clearly the nails. It's a lot of work but I think it works. Some are using toothpicks and I doing it this way..... @ Frank, Not answering a question from you but how are you ? And how is the Supply ? Finished all ready ?

Update time ! The middle deck has his planking..... With ( for the first time ) the tree nailing...... I also plank the bow deck. That's it for the moment. She goes on the shelf and the San Ildefonso is coming down again. When the main mast has his shrouds and ratlines, I'll be back to the Aggy again.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
