  1. Druxey, The barge is a little jewell. My personal view is that a bundle of sweeps 'dumped' across the thwarts would simply look cluttered and would also hide a lot of internal detail. If she were mine, I think I'd go for either tossed or on racks beside the boat - probably on racks. John
  2. Just catching up, Alexandru. She really looks first class. John
  3. Just catching up, Frank. She's really coming along very nicely. John
  4. What a beautiful little ship, Kees. John
  5. Looks delightful, Druxey. Just how big is that coin? John
  6. Aha! An update on progress. Looks like it's always been there, Popeye! John
  7. Given that she's 175 feet long, the numbering along the bottom can't be in either meters or feet - maybe frame numbering? Anyway, as the plan is to scale, a simple measurement of the length should answer your question. John
  8. That spreader is certainly unusual, Russ. Will it have metal bands around the ends to ensure it stays together? John
  9. Welcome to the 'dark side', Hamilton. Another 'Bluenose' log is very welcome. John
  10. I can only agree with the previous comments, Håkan. A beautiful build. John
  11. Coming along nicely, Russ. I think the headsail hanks look OK for scale. John
  12. A good, honest, workmanlike looking little yacht in my opinion. She'll make a delightful model. John
  13. Looks a great project, Tim. I assume you mean HMS Pandora (1779) as fitted at the time of her wreck in 1791? John
