Anyone built the OcCre Endeavour ??????????????
Adrieke replied to Micklen32's topic in Wood ship model kits
Also regarding the instructions, I have got all my models direct from OcCre and they have all arrived with English instructions so hopefully..................... that's weird as the hobby store said OcCre does not supply English manuals with any of their models. -
in the mean time you can think of the next thing to change / bash improve

you could gently drill a hole and then use needle files to square them off

so this is the idea I will drill 3 holes in this part I made to cover up the wiring. through this holes will go the pins that are fastened to the 3rd deck underneath 3 connectors will be glued that hook up to the wiring module when the 3rd deck is bolted down the pins will make contact with the connectors

while waiting for some glue to dry on the kom I thought I once and for all tackled the paint problem I had ordered some admiralty paints which are great but the red ochre does not match the color of the replica I used this paint database which allows you to upload pictures and find out which color of several brands match it best : http://scalemodeldb.com/paint I finally decided on the Valejo Red color I did a test and I am happy with the result I also I drew the planking on to the bow deck . I will first add the waterways so I can paint them red without having to mask the other planks

thanks Piet ust take a seat Sjors will be over soon with your drink thanks Rowand thanks Jim yup sure feels good and certainly now I think I solved the last problem thanks mobsie thanks Mark. well I need something to keep the guest quiet while I build when she launches there will be champagne don't worry plenty of beers for everyone no pictures (sorry forgot) but I have figured out how to hook up 3rd deck to the second deck so I can easily remove it even with the smokestacks and all I installed:)

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
