  1. Hi Igor It's interesting to see the process you're using to make the sea. I'm sure it's not as easy as you make it look, but it'll be worth it once done. Cheers Patrick
  2. Hi Denis I can't believe what a week you must've had. From the joys of a new grandson, through to a storm, flooding, an injured son and, everything else in between! Yet, despite all of that, you still manage to churn out a beautiful looking winch! I don't how you manage to juggle everything, but you always seem to do it with aplomb. I'm certainly envious of your ability to do that. All the best! Patrick
  3. Hi Bob Simply marvellous! You deserve to be very proud of her. A true gem. Cheers Patrick
  4. Hi Elijah Bit by bit, she just keeps getting better and better. Well done! Cheers Patrick
  5. Hey Mark I think you're too modest, because we're learning just as much, or even more, from you. Mighty fine work as always! BTW, 1/8th of an inch is well within my comfort zone! In fact, it's not even worth breaking a sweat over it
  6. Hi Elijah. Yep, but it's not a swimming pool as such; but more like a spa. Regardless, it'd be a great place to relax! Thanks Patrick
  7. Hi Frank, Denis, Bob and Nenad Many thanks! I hope you're all well. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Cheers Patrick
  8. Hey Denis. Great news about the special delivery. Baby No. 6 chose quite a night to make an appearance, by the sounds of it. I hope all are well. Cheers Patrick
  9. Hi Angarvater Congrats on the birth of Richard! As for your model, well, one word sums it up - SUPERB!!! I just love it. Cheers Patrick
  10. Hi Michael and Nils Many thanks and all the very best! Cheers Patrick
  11. Hah Nils! I just had a little chuckle. Those vents reminded me of a whole bunch of meerkats checking out the view. All standing up straight and facing the same direction. Where's David Attenborough? Nice work, of course! Cheers Patrick
  12. Hi folks! Just a quick update on Shadow. I've been concentrating on getting the external superstructure built. So far, most of the general shape is there; well enough to see the beauty starting to come through. Still heaps to go, but time's been limited lately. Hopefully, I'll be able to get more time later. Have a great weekend! Cheers Patrick
  13. Hi Michael Tragic as the damage is, there is a something fitting about how the restoration has landed in your lap - you know, built by master craftsmen at Bassett-Lowke and now, restored by a modern day, master craftsman by the name of Michael Mott! There's no doubting that you're up to the task. I'm in! Cheers Patrick
  14. Woohoo Jerry! Seeing the boat in the water will be a massive milestone. I'll be looking forward to seeing the photos as well. At least then, you can look back and admire your hard work. PS - No photos of the crabs??? Cheers Patrick
  15. Thanks Denis Enjoy your day tomorrow! Cheers Patrick
  16. Hi Jond Dang! After looking at the deck photos, one thing comes to mind...You do brilliant work. Cheers Patrick
  17. Hey Denis Looking mighty fine! Well done. Cheers Patrick
  18. Hi Vaddoc Brilliant! 'Tis great to see the hull finally taking shape in the building board. She's big, that's for sure. However, enough of the boat. What's this about the stork flying over your house
  19. Hi Denis Wow! Very nice. Each photo I look at, brings up more and more detail to see. You must've been really busy and productive in between your updates, because there's certainly been a lot of great progress to date. Cheers Patrick
  20. Hi Jone I'm just loving all the details you're putting into her. Simply lovely! Cheers Patrick
  21. Hi Mark She's really coming together beautifully.. Cheers Patrick
