  1. Whats your trick for getting the tire weight inpressions? mine is to fix them in place then to rub the plane gently on a fine wet and dry sheet on a flat surface. OC.
  2. Evening all, so work continues on the rear engine cover, this time I assembled and placed the barrel brace for when the tank is in stoawge position, I also added a few more fitting including the reat stowage bins - these are lovely moulding including the locks. OC.
  3. Wonderful Patrick another splendid addition to your collection. OC.
  4. Thank you brother, do you think they would have had insendery devices fired out the French Canons as surely a bog standard canon ball would not have caused a fire? OC.
  5. These are contermpory drawings from the time showing the Grey slate roofs and a good amount of damaged Whitewash coming off the walls showing the Brickworks. OC.
  6. Ken, EG, all the roofs were flat Grey tiled. OC.
  7. I didn't realize that brother - right then I will do this version as seen on exercise in Germany. OC. Not my pic.
  8. Thank you Edward, yep I will be test fitting stuff in the turret soon not sure if the assembly will convert straight across from one kit to the other, the turret rings might be a differnt diameter, I will no doubt have to do abit of fettling to get it to fit. OC.
  9. Very tidy paitwork Denis, especially around the glazing, how are you doing my friend hope your health is holding up. OC.
  10. Thank you Ekis, I'm not sure how big the damage was as info on it is a bit sketchy - they just say the French attempted to set fire to the Barn Roof and it was only by the KGL using kettles from the pond - that rescued the roof before it could go to far. OC.
  11. Ekis can I ask for some advice please mate, when I start building my Waterloo La Haye Sainte farm buildings, part of the Barns roof was set on fire by canon fire (I understand) how can I best replicate this in my MDF roof - builing the damage and simulating the burned look? OC.
  12. Think it will look superb - wait till I have to paint the figures in that disruptive camo😲 OC.
  13. I brought this one Mark, it seems really good I just use a thin bit of wire - dab the wire end in the small puddle of glue in a saucer (like the garden pot type ones) then dab it on the place were I want to place the PE, keeps it controled taht way also give a little time to move the part around (not lots of time but just enough) OC.
  14. What I will probably do with the Abrams is limit the extra armour on the hull to just the reactive flat boxe's and not the (roof tile looking plates) just think they look silly but will give the turrets the Full Monty. OC.
  15. Thank you for finding that Edward, think I remember it - probably as a kid wishing I could paint Airfix figures like that. OC.
  16. You could try this photo downlaoding site - I use it quite a bit - https://postimages.org/ OC.
  17. Also I came across this little gem - Sharps very own discussing Warerloo, have yet to watch the whole thing. OC.
  18. That video looks excellent and that chap almost on the verge of reinactmant vs wargamer. OC.
  19. Evening all, more progress still on the top plate - firstly I had what seemed like Ten Million engine hatch hinges, then there was a few handles that were about 0000000.1mm wide (well not quite) but still minute, the savior was some larger fittings like fuel filler caps and engine exhausts, also a couple of side handles (not as small as the other tiny things). Next was some engine cover Bling that was a pleasure to fix down. I have taken a few pics ot show the massive size of the M1 kit (that I will be pinching the interior from) and also some super detail sets I boright to bring the M1 upto its most modern look, and the Chally tankers I will buid and paint. OC.
  20. Should see the size of the box its Huge and the parts count loads and loads. OC.
