    Would your deck planks not lightly sand up to smooth them slightly? I know in real life they would have had a lot of abuse and wear and tear, I always wanted to achieve a bleached aged wood affect on mine uisng the wire wool/vinegar jar system, then a few coats of flat clear to seal it all in. Not sure if that helps my friend. OC.

    Good evening all hope your all in good health, right then I did another hour on the spit, firstly I fitted the two ailerons straight forward procedure, then I fitted the wing tips - again glued straight on with no fuss, what amazes me is the scale cord thiness of the wings just like the real thing. OC.

    Yep I relate to that mark, I have even seen then use small wooded chock blocks on aircraft moving surfaces in museums for the same reason I guess. OC.

    Looking good denis - I know what you mean about the masks "Have I pushed it down well enough to stop leaking from the paint" trouble lifting them agian after a few coats of paint. OC.

    I will grab a propper seat now I found this I remember planking my HMS Greyhound kit - it sent me nuts and seamed to take years to get anywhere. OC.
