Hola Andy:
Everything depends on the taste of everyone, but I am very satisfied with the green color I painted the POB hull. The important thing is the kind of green you use and of course that is your decision simply because is your ship.

I am very glad that I could help you with the BB sheets, don´t hesitate to ask if you need a more specific picture or detail of rigging and sails.

Hola a todos:
During the Holidays I had no much time to make some advances in my ship, nonetheless I finished some details:
After several tries I make the Step Pads using the Word program of my computer:
Also, some of the Bitts, the wood cleats to hang the Life rings and the Gun stowage blocks:
The channels:
The Cat Heads:
The Steps:
And finally, I varnished the Hull:

Hola Ulises:
Something similar occurred to me with the "Pandora", fortunately I figured it out and also fixed the cannons before the stairs.
Also FELIZ NAVIDAD to you and all the MSW friends!!

Hola:
A new update. I made the crew berthing and galley access trunk.
The tricky part was the fire hydrant and hose because the Britannia part that comes with the kit makes it very difficult to add a hose. So I weld a couple of small brass nails simulating the hydrant.
To simulate the hose I used a thin electronic wire:

Hi everybody:
After finishing the lockers I decided to follow with the lifeboat:
The most tricky part was to sand the interior because the kit comes with the "bread and butter"laser-cut lifts. To accomplish this I glued only two of the lifts and before gluing another pair I carved and sanded the inner surface of the pairs. Nonetheless it is quite difficult to achieve a "perfect" soft interior.
Here you can see some pictures of the finished boat:
The cradles:
And the boat in it´s final position:

Hallo Nils:
Thanks for your words, specially considering you are really a MASTER in ship modeling. I saw your "SS Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse" and let me without words!! Your work with wood and metal is astounding, probably you must consider writing a Book about Ship modeling. For sure I will be one of your readers.
Viele Grüße, Karl

Hola Mike:
There are a couple of things that really amaze me, that your little daughter is interested in building wood boat models (I am sure she will be an excellent engineer in the future !!) and second, the quality of the model. I had not seen kits with this quality for 95.00 and also where the hull planks came pre-cut. This greatly facilitates things, especially for beginners.
Please congratulate your daughter for her effort.

Hola Michael:
I find this picture of the Wasa Museum, and regarding the upper yard hailing rope you are right. If you make a zoom on the picture you can see (unfortunately not very clearly) a sheave for the hailing rope.
