  1. Good afternoon everyone, dreaded doing the fine painting, but it wasnt something i could put off any longer
  2. I have been trimming some of the secured lines, i think, but not yet checked that one wasnt quite as secured as i thought
  3. looking at the photos, i have a broken line allowing the foremast lower yard on the port side to be pulled aft
  4. Good evening everyone managed to get the foremast stuns in, they make quite a visual difference to the overall appearance of the build

  8. these are from the warhammer range, which i think work out at about 1/64 scale
  9. Thank you, the close up photos with flash highlight every blemish, which panics me quite a bit, so i see the pictures and rush down stairs to see if it is as bad as it appear, in most cases i cannot see anything

Good evening everyone well i have ordered parts 2 and 5 of the set which have arrived, i also ordered 1.5mm plywwod sheets to replace the decks, 2mm thick balsa sheet for the 1st planking and lime strips for the 2nd planking all the main decks will be remade, the hull inside be reinforced to stop damage when drill portholes, and this build will have sails, some of the fittings will be scratched as they are very basic, my original build log was lost in the great crash, reinput and then i asked for that one to be deleted as this was going to landfill

  12. good evening everyone thank you everyone for the likes and comments, sorry i have bored a lot of my followers over the last 7 years, but it is coming to an end, Honest this weekend the quarter davits and been finished and rigged , with exception of the running gears, im not sure if that was fitted if no boats were embarked, the Stun booms made and fitted both fwd anchors on port and stbd completed and oooo whats these 3 items in this box ( mast pillars) long lost and forgotten about, now found painted and fitted

  17. brasso apparantly is ok for glass, but im surprised it was damaged that much just using the wrong side of a sponge
