  1. With a proper setup (photowise) you can fool anyone with these pictures. How did you accomplish ionization on the exhaust system? That looks so real.
  2. I just love the detailing to this motorcycle. The dent in the tank to the turn signal that is being held into place with tape. The instrument panel looks so real, is it just a low milage or has the numbers gone one whole turn? If you wouldn't have had any items in the background to relate the scale I would had thought it was a real bike.
  3. I have been looking at this model from Tamiya many times and been considering to get it. I am a Honda rider, 750 Honda Shadow Spirit from 2007. Love the bike so that is one of the reasons of maybe buying this kit. Again, you are an amazing job with the weathering of details. Looking forward to see the final bike. Are you to make the saddle soft?
  4. From the PNW a warm welcome! If you are a musician and have built this models with your own critical eyes, I know your models will pass. Glad to see you on board and looking forward to your build log of Lady Nelson.
  5. That is just splendid work! Vive la resistance!
  6. Hank, I guess you are just like me anxious to get work shop ready to create some dust again.' Looking good!
  7. Stu, a warm welcome from Washington, USA. I think many of us has various model experiences before we found this website. Sorry to hear about the covid-19 separation between you and your wife. I have watched many videos regarding rc ship combat. It looks fun, but seems costly at the same time.
  8. For people interested in the "gas" engine. https://www.driveonwood.com/library/gengas/
  9. Just amazing! I like the aging very much. Are you compete with that model?
  10. Are you going to simulate rust holes too? Like in the doors/fenders....
  11. That rust detail is so accurate as the Citroen was prone to rust in those areas.
  12. That's so well done, I like the aging of the model. Wish I had those skills.
  13. Paul, First of all a warm welcome to our corner of the model ship world. Choosing a Victory model as a second, I like it! I didn't know that the false keel was made out of mdf board. You have done a fantastic job so far. I will follow along this build.
  14. Jesse, that's a very nice finalized model. I think Buddy approves too, otherwise he would have put his teeth into it directly.😄
  15. Beautiful start, like the aging of the parts.
  16. Go with Gimp or Inkscape, they are both free and will serve the purpose.
  17. Moxis, If you have had a correct licens from the beginning and have the key saved, you should be able to re-start your Corel Draw. Inkscape is tricky to work with, well at least for me.
  18. That's the best part of having a shed on post or skids, so you can move it. Then it's not a permanent structure. Part of International Building Codes.
  19. I remembered that one of my father smaller yachts had white caulking, (teak deck), so I did a quick search. It is still available to purchase. I would use thin crisp white paper to simulate the caulking.
  20. Found it directly, about five minutes later as I had other things going on at the same time..... there were quite an extensive collection of how-to's.
  21. Bob, I will try the same with our remote.... as we have Xfinity as well. Thanks for providing the idea. Otherwise using the link provided will help. I did jewelry (silver) soldering back in the 90's, most to give away or sold for a fraction. Had a lot of fun with it. Time to pick this one up as I need to hone my soldering skills. A couple of ear-ring sets I made had the shape of the musical G-clave. Gave them to women in the choir I sang with at the time, highly appreciated x-mas gift.
  22. Malas, You should have the scale answer on the drawings (plans). My guess it may be a Model Shipways kit, part list says scale 3/16" = 1ft
