  1. SomethingIsFishy Don't have medical as a proffession, but the Admiral has 25 years plus in the field. Now working the admin of medical for D.o.C (Department of Correction) for WA state. She has been a savior a couple of times when boo-boos has happened. Looking into the other build log of yours. Both looking very good.
  2. CHBorgm, Timeless she is and a true beauty. When seeing her on the water is a pleasure, the steam engine and the whistle (same engine since launch in 1903). Makes a minimal wake. If you ever go to Sweden and Stockholm you have to take a tour with her.
  3. I want to say sorry to Geoffrey, this based on the information Matrim provided. It looked so suspicious to me. I'm glad it got cleared. Looking forward to seeing this build progressing.
  4. Geoffrey, I am a little confused. On the box it reads Hobby Line on the top left, while your plans reads Mantua. I am under the impression that you have a Chinese rip-off version of the original. Before you get into trouble with MSW, please read the topic regarding banned kits.
  5. If there hadn't been an explanation I was wondering how Michael got a "third hand". Yes that is cheating, when all of us only has two hands. On the other (remaining) hand, lol, .. Michael... you are of to a very nice start.
  6. Steve, you have gotten long into your build log, it all looks so good and clean. You will be done in short time.
  7. Dave, I wish I could apply a huge "like" to all of your inputs. This build log is great! Looking forward to more.
  8. Bob, That looks amazing. Having the longboat centered on the base would have created several problems further down the road when casing. This will look awesome once the longboat has a home!
  9. Maury, that looks so good. And yes, patience is needed too.
  10. Aydin, Did you look for Valejo paint 70.966? Which is supposed to be the turquoise color. Otherwise those seats looks so nice.
  11. Jaxboat, 40lb is equal to 2.86 stones. Good job. Now I need to the same..... lol And with the box containing the Victory I can do weight lifting!
  12. Chris, that's beautiful work you have done to create HMS Victory. Any indication of the weight? Prince is looking great too.
  13. Julie, thank you for the explanation. Never seen it before but now makes sense.
  14. Julie, Even though the finishing planking is running "against" the water it looks amazing. Question: Why this running of planking?
  15. Julie, kitchen is important for the happiness of the family. Maybe you can sneak in a minute or two with the Endeavor.
  16. Blown away! On the other hand it is a rather windy day day too.........
  17. Now, that makes the mill even more impressive!
  18. Weflack, Are you creating this little mill from plans or is this just all from plans in your head? I am so impressed!
  19. Hi Sarah and welcome back along with your Longboat build. That frame support you added will keep the longboat strong while fairing the frames. It is well needed. I beveled the planks lengthwise for a tighter fit to avoid light coming through. I went along with Chuck's additional separate instruction using a hair-dryer or light heat-gun for bending and CA when it came to planking. Worked out really nice. However, your longboat is coming together very nicely and quick as well. We missed you at the annual PSSM BBQ in August. And that applies to you Harvey as well.
  20. Herr Pucko, I am very pleased that the instructions are in Swedish as well. The detailing is amazing! Thank you for sharing.
