Looks like your off to a good start with your supplies.

Here is everything I know about treenails, Trenails, Trenels or Trunnels

Approach with extreme patience, Kevin! It is a lengthy exercise. Make the treenails as small as practical; so often they are clunky and far out of scale. I mark out and prick each position first so that the drill doesn't wander and mess things up. Dip te ens of the treenail material in slightly diluted white glue, push it into a hole, snip short or flush using flush cutters. Repeat. Repeat.... When complete, the surface will look knobbly (see pic), but will look great after you've sanded it down.572698234_Cometplank19_11.thumb.jpg.08bf565a56f6bd0be5631ea2b800033d.jpg

I hesitate to add anything to the foregoing experts. These are models and subjective opinion has a place. I personally prefer a subtle not a "measles" appearance. Your proven expertise will, I'm sure, produce an excellent result. Might I just suggest a small, parallel, build to rest from a repetitive and possible boring few days (Reduced alertness=mistakes)

Crikey Kevin - that is one hell of a lot of nails  - you're going to be dreaming about nails by the time you've done that job.

A nice bit of patience there though marking them all out - good luck mate 👍
