Then the other pictures shows you the chainplates and gun port lids on the port side. Now I have to go to the lower row…... I know it's probably tooo late for my suggestion but I'll say it anyway.....When I did my hatch lines on my HMS Victory bow section, I first used spray starch to stiffen the line before installation. Then I glued the hatches open and attached the stiffened line thru the hole in the planking and fastened it to the hatch. That way, each line looks like it is under tension, holding the hatch up. Maybe yours are working hatches.....Anyway, I know they will look fine, just wanted to document my method in case I forget. There may be a day when I build something with rigging and hatches again..... I have drilled a hole into the hull and put the wire in it, then a little knot and I pulled it back, Then a tiny hole into the lid and do the same thing. It works, only I'm gonna be crazy because a lot of hinges are coming loose…... It's almost impossible to glue them on to the lid. But i did the port side. There all there know…... Ratlines……I have look at the drawing and I stop counting till I'm at 1000 ratlines…... So maybe a few more HELP! I please to aim I know what you meant Just me trying to be helpfull... although as for your ratline issue...
