Congratulations on finishing your Red Jacket and thank you for posting a detailed build log for us to follow.  This is a really nice model.

I've never thought of using Bondo on wood, good to know. It would have relieved a little stress on having to perfectly whittling down my Portland hull knowing I could have made a mistake and then fixed it.

I use a Craftsman 3-D Sander. It features 3 small pivoting sanding heads that will sand any shape just as the templates indicate.
