I read it on, I think. Cybermodeler? May have been on a MRR site, too.  Don't know who the primary maker is. I suspect Badger/Stynylrez

Reds and yellows are very translucent, so a light color underneath is a must. I have a modeling friend who has used a Badger yellow primer under the reds he paints freight cars. It's Stynylrez or you may find it in Europe under the AMMO by MiG label.

Vallejo 73.613 or 73.604 (bottles) but I wouldn't recommend to spray it. Until now, I am not impressed by Vallejo airbrush primers, their ratle cans are as good as Tamiya oddly enough

It is indeed MIG and Badger. MIG is 20% cheaper here in the Netherlands. € 6 vs € 8, bottle size is equal, 60ml. A bloke at Britmodeller tested it on a kit which he first primed with Badger, and after that with MIG, it seemed to blend in perfectly ...

White respray, looks good enough, pitty I can't use the chipping fluid's capacity anymore. Back to manually inflicting damage. Few more bottles on order. Forgot to order three for this model. Added the missing colours for the next at the same time, saves postal charges. Won't be long before I'll start that one.. Planning a scratch build too. I found an interesting 109 the BF 109Z. Requires two kits, and a lot of scratch building ... model bucket list + 1

Thanks for the likes and the comments.

Mark, maybe I can have it make a corckscrew ... now that would be nice ...

Mike, there is dessert camouflage (whipped cream, lemon icing, the usual ;) ) in the planning, still have another one of these birdies in the box

Looking nice Carl I still think the color will make it a very unique 109 rather than just another generic German plane.

Received panel liner today, which means I'll be weathering "dieser Schweizer". No decals this time as I do not have any for this particular scheme ... or do I have some left from my previous build ...

Does Eduard supply decals for this scheme? It would be a shame to leave it unfinished or have to wait because of a lack of decals.

Nope they don't, but I found some usable ones on the decal sheet in the box. And some I can "adjust" to the required format, so I think I'll manage. Don't forget, this scheme is not "out of the box", or should I say "in the box"

I noticed that the reference picture you used in the beginning was produced by Eduard so I assumed they possibly had the decals needed to build it this way. Good to kn ow that you can "make do" with what you have though.

Looks a lot a like, but it's an Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3 instead of a 109G-6. However, it doesn't seem to be available anymore, it's a model from 2006. Can't seem to find the decal sheets either

No not really, but thanks anyway Lou

I need to quit doing these things late at night. I meant to delete that post when i realized the decals were in 1/32 scale. The other ones I posted are 1/48th and less expensive as well.

The kit Jack posted  is available on eBay.

And according to the site they are in stock...

And the set has aircraft 705, which is the scheme for the eduard kit... (it also comes with gun barrels and canopy masks, both inside and outside, a real deal if you ask me)

Thanks Egilman, I didn't see that one. Often ".com" is USA and not really of interest as shipping and handling make it hardly worth while to get cheaper items to Europe. Price increases from three to six times what's it worth

Pannel lines accentueated, weathered, and "smoked" by it's exhaust. Remains the arrival of some more decals, replacing the cockpit glass, adding rear wheely-thingy. Looks nice an (ab)used
