From some reason, unknown to me, last couple of days some ghosts moved in my cellphone and in my PC, so I wouldn't post text in comments from cellphone, and I wouldn't enter to my log from PC ... :(

Also, from some reason, also unknown to me, now I can !

So, at first I want to thank you all for more than nice words, undeserved compliments, and generous support to my efforts

Jolly boat is finished, left to make oars, rudder and some more small content, and to move to Captains Gig and two lifeboats

And here rise one question. Please see attached picture on which is represented position of each boat on C-plans and in present stage

glavn.JPG.29d90690653cd5e7b35b69314faa1404.JPG

My idea is to place boats on such a way that interior of boats can be seen, also to allow clinker planks to be seen (if, accidentally, anybody can be so mad to watch under magnifier :D:D :D). With Captains Gig, i decide (for now) to turn it as on present stage, not as on C-plans. And there is aesthetic dilema with another three. Ok, Jolly boat can be easily turned as Captains Gig, and one lifeboat can be turned upside down. But it looks ugly ! Or, to turn all as Captains Gig and Jolly boat ( and then clinker planking can not be seen!) ?

Any idea how to solve this aesthetic  dilemma ?

Hi Nenad

I would make the boats with all interior, and then decide how to place them. Nobody will be sad, if they are not in a 100% original position. I think, a good way to show them, will be as shown in the second photo, and that single boat as shown in the first. But I would use no canvas covers, just to show the interior!

You could have them like in the picture ... but without the covers.

OR, you could roll the covers halfway back ... like you did with the green hatchway covering.

Exactly what Steve said. Build them to detail inside, leave the covers off and place the lifeboats right side up with the boat between them upside down. Shows off the lapstrake planking of it and the insides of the lifeboats. Also keep the other boat on the forward house upright with no cover. Make sure the best lapstrake is the boat that ends up upside down and the others all have great interiors. :)

Thank you all for your kind words and support

Now, my summer vacation starts a few days ago in ... usual way ... drowned in home works ... day by day started to slide from my hands

Fortunately, until august 30th Courts are closed for summer vacation, my clients use their vacations, so I have pretty long resting time (July 25th until august 25th), and I shall figure out something. For instance, to empty from trash, clean and repair roof in attic (50 m 2 to empty and clean, and 10 m2 roof to repair). Outside is nice 37 C, and in attic is nearly 47 C, so I do not need SPA !

Of course, there will be more time to finish last three boats

I do not plan to travel somewhere for now by money reasons :( , maybe couple of days to take my friend`s cottage deep in the middle of nowhere in central Serbia as base, and to make some trips around ... we will see ... still all bricks are not on their place on that wall

Anyhow, see you soon with some progress

All removed couple of years ago when I had visit of carpenter ants and war with them...

This part of attic was turned to Hothead`s music studio where I had my first attempt to play drums ... sure now he has no time for that, and drums are in their boxes

A good start on the boat. Soon you can do them with your eyes closed, Nenad. Roof ... don't remind me, I replaced the tiles and lattice on my roof two or three years ago, I blocked the memory!!
