Kortes, your log is still an inspiration to me and  others, the fact that  even a master like you needs a few  attempts to achieve perfection is somewhat comforting. Keep up the beautiful work!

I have prepared and adjusted the components of the stern shells in place.

I was quite a challenge to make carved elements. Hornbeck is quite difficult to cut,it's quite strong and fragile , and the scale is a bit to small for me.

The assembling is still to come and the fitting in place.

I have installed the gunwale. Now it is important to finally make the stern. Ahead is left the manufacture and installation of sloop beams and bollards

I have  made crambolas and boat davit. Fitting was without glue, I will install the boat davit later, so that they don't  break off when i will working with the steering wheel.

Yes, that would be very upsetting to damage such wonderful (and no doubt time consuming) work.  Very precise, clean and sharp woodworking.  You are a true artist, Alexander.

Made and installed bollards.

Еvery craftsman will find it differently, for me making a latrine is the most difficult part of the model. The work will take a long time, so I will post the results by the way of proceeding.

Have been working with the drawings , and made patterns.

I decided not cut the elements out, but to bend in parts with the following gluing.

I have installed the lower crossbars.

I have installed the beams and filled in the grate of the top flooring .
