     Over and over I read the word precise to describe your workmanship.  So true!  To my eye there is nothing that doesn't look perfect.  On most models you can spot slight imperfections here and there if you look closely, but not on your model.  Stunningly beautiful.

I second what Mati said about the red hue you achieved.  Very nice!

Marsalv, I'm really impressed with the way the head timbers turned out on your Pandora.  A-1 job!   It's great the way you have combined the natural wood look along side objects that have been painted.  They complement one another so well, neither one looking "too strong".... beautifully balanced!

Dan, the Boston frigate turned out great ..... beautiful workmanship!  Those are nice photos of the finished model.  Roman merchant vessel, WWI US submarine, and a 1694 British 6th rate?  Wow!  That's a lot on your plate.  I do hope you will be sharing with us their construction in build logs. ;-)  No doubt they would attract a strong following.  My Stratolounger is greased and I have lots of popcorn and beer for the show.

     I love the last photo showing the Speedwell sitting on your shop workbench.  In no subtle way we are reminded just how small a ship Speedwell was.  Even at 1:48 scale it is not a very big model.  All your previous pictures lead you believe it is larger.  This might be a great subject for those interested in constructing a 1:32 scale model.  When the book and plans are released it would be nice to have that scale available for purchase too. ;-)  Just something to consider.

Altair is coming along REAL NICE Keith!  The planking and the nose turned out great.  I look forward to seeing more.  How do you intend on finishing the planking?  It would be a shame to cover up such gorgeous work with paint.  Do you plan to leave one side showing that beautiful planking job?

As for doing jobs around the house(s), well, I can certainly relate.  For the last six months I've been up to my eyeballs in domestic projects, and like you many of them not even in my own home.  Count your blessings Keith, at least you get into your shop to work on your model some.  I'm so damn busy my HMS Camilla project seems like a distant memory.

Hand tools only?  Those are two mighty nice looking completed models, and proof to all that fancy power tools and special jigs aren't necessary to produce works of art.  They are beautiful.  The schooner Altair is progressing nicely too.  On a vessel with such pretty lines you are doing a fantastic job on the planking.  I love your work.

Druxey is right ..... it is a fix.  In this world some fools shoot drugs in their veins, but here in the MSW build logs we have Glenn's weekly post.  Many of us  would be jonesing without it.  I too REALLY look forward to it.  Sorry, I'm hooked!  It's just such incredibly nice workmanship.  I'm in total awe of his skills.  How can you not get a high watching this build progress?
