    I like my Carson Pro. The optics are good and the light helps, but the best feature is open design that does not block my peripheral vision.

    Dan, I wanted the same thing--a magnifier that didn't hide my peripheral vision. I settled on the Carson Pro. You can find it on the Internet. I think mine came from that Amazon place.

    No. the grain is too big (pronounced) to properly scale out and look right.
