  1. You've done a fine job. I really enjoy the photos of your model.
  2. That device on the helm was used in conjunction with model part #6 (from the plan) when the launch was used to carry out the anchor.
  3. Ryland, Not sure how small your square hole is but I'm guessing about 1/16" or so. If that's the case, you want to get a set of these...Google No. 0 square file 4"
  4. Hal, welcome aboard. I think you'll enjoy building the sardine carrier--it has the right amount of everything to teach skills without being overwhelming. I'm building one right now from scratch using plans drawn by Dynamite Payson.... John
  5. Rusty, You're model is Terrific! These "Cheerful" models are setting a new standard.
  6. OK, these photos were a real treat! Your work is first rate.
  7. Just a guess....but I bet the "u-shaped" planking is a bench seat.
  8. I'm just saying.....

  11. I like my Carson Pro. The optics are good and the light helps, but the best feature is open design that does not block my peripheral vision.
  12. There's something about Xebec's that really draw your eye.....very nice model!
