Looks like I'm a little late, just settling down in the rafters for this one. Good luck Craig 👍

Beautiful hull Glenn, the cedar is gorgeous! While I agree with Garthog, I'm also itching to watch you rig Cheerful, and once rigged I'm sure she'll still be mire than worthy of a place in a museum or discerning collection 😉

Wow Eric, you've been a busy man since my last visit to your build, the banner looks very nice, and your continued rope making is producing some very nice rope! The planking you've started is also looking good. Congrats on acquiring the Medway Longboat. That particular model is on my wishlist 😉 Keep up the good work🙂

Doesn't matter how slow you build when you're producing something that nice, Eamonn. She looks beautiful!

I second this, perhaps just short sessions along side an amour build or maybe another piece of towed artillery or support vehicle. You can do it brother!

Well the sun has been out and the weather dry so I've been out on the backyard with Winnie for the last couple of evenings, taking the bulk of the inner bulwarks off, just a bit of fine tuning with the sanding sticks and its back to planking. this is as she is now You may have noticed that the Wales have not been double planked yet, I've done this as I still have some sanding to do and would definitely catch the wales, so once I have it sanded and smooth I will fit the wales and get some paint on them. Thanks for the likes and your patience 🙂 Cheers

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
