  1. Hi Lawrence, thanks for looking in and for your kind good wishes. Yes, I had that MRT neck spine examination last friday and am holding the report, which requires understandable interpretation for myself. I was told it`s not as bad as I thought it would be, but the pain is still there. Hope to get further along with the docs in the coming week. The fingers of course are itching to get back to further modeling some progress again. Have a nice week.... Nils

  7. Good morning Janet, thank you very much for your nice compliment, I`m glad you like the completed HMS Pegasus. It sits in it`s glass case on a wardrobe in my hobby office, oposite to my work desc You`re right with the walking straight into it with the build. It was my first 18th century build, and inspirated by all those lovely builds here at MSW, my obligation was to get it complete from A-Z, before starting a new project (either the British Naval Cutter "Alert" of 1777 or the First German Lloyd four stacker "Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse" Nils
  8. Hi Igor, i presume you would be intending to start your "Oliver Cromwell" model as a brand new project again under the topic Build Logs for SCRATCH SHIP MODEL PROJECTSin that case you would have to follow the guide lines for the project introduction, giving the main head data. See basic topic http://modelshipworld.com/index.php/forum/47-questionsinstructions-on-how-to-use-and-post-to-this-forumsite-problems-or-suggestions/ it also be giving an instruction how to download (your log "head figure for Oliver Cromwell") a complete Log and paste it into the new created project under the introduction name heading you would be choosing Nils
  9. Igor, your "Oliver Cromwell" is an outstanding beauty in shipwright performance and handcraft work. Love those lines ! Beautiful Photos as well The wonderful head figure (godess Juno) does her well deserved justice Nils
  10. Thanks for your compliment for the winches Denis, and for your sympathy and good wishes for the disc problem...., thats how it started, same by me as well ("pains in my lower neck and left shoulder"., and numb feeling and nerve-pain right down to the left hand). Am daily trying to compensate the pain with pills Unfortunately I could`nt get an appointment for the MRT examination before 1st. April, then hopefuly and with specialist`s help the reason can be identified and a solution found Nils

  14. Thank you very much for your well appreciated compliments......, Steve, Mark, Bob, Gerhard, Patrick and Piet, and all the " likes " I`m glad this fitting out detail is liked. Next to the cargo winches there are still two winches on the boats deck of which I do`nt really know how and what function they are for (as mentioned some posts back...), will leave those for later on...hoping to come across and find a solutionto that some day Nils
  15. Hi Bob, perhaps you may like these wonderful detailed ship`s boats. As you are building in 1:96 scale there are for instance lapstrake double ender boats and more..... At least a nice sample fore a selfmade one... http://www.model-dockyard.com/acatalog/1_96_Scale.html Nils
