Thanks so much Tom. The family is doing great we are all smiling today. No pest movement for two days.😁. They were Norway rats. It will take a couple of months to clean up, disinfect everything and repair the walls and ceiling. Enjoy following along your attention to detail is amazing great work. The Pegasus will have to wait a few months but I will be back

Abandon Shipyard !!! Had to move all my builds upstairs. Due to pests moving into the shipyard I have to shut it down, for several months. The family has been sick, but we are feeling better all around. So I settled in on making the masts, and heard some scratching from the ceiling. Yep , pests. Darn and I wanted to try and get my Pegasus done by the end of May. I was shooting for the end of May because that will be Three years that I have been a member of NRG and MSW. I have been having the time of my life. It is just so much fun. I can hardly wait to get better at this. I have learnt so much. At least I will be able to follow along with logs, it will give me time to catch up on some reading lol. The first Mate says to picture the enemy like this . But it's not working , I am so depressed about not building models, if I did not have so much to do I would go crazy lol. Talk to you all when I can , Sea ya.

Good luck on your journey with this build. The picture sure looks like Columbus' ship, LA Nina but I guess they all looked similar. Tagging along with interest 😀

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
