  3. Well Today was the day , I finished the running rigging and got everything else squared away. I went thru alot with this one , in the end it all worked out ,This Concludes this build log , I will not be adding any new postings,However I will respond to questions and comments. I appreciate all the like's and would like to Thank everyone that followed along . I am glad that I was able to share this build with you all. and Here are the final Results

  5. Hi Omega, there are 3 , this one and 2 cup boats. This one should be done today.( the Boxing Kangaroo is just about finished ) leaving Stars & Stripes. I am excited about the full size build, I can't wait to sail her . Best Regards, Pete

  7. Today, it was time to bring her to the finishing stage. I started by making the Tiller and finishing the Boom and Gaff. Next I finished the rudder by adding birch ply to both sides of the top, Creating the pocket for the Tiller. I then installed the Rudder ( I will stain the birch ply Cherry ) I then made the Brass hoop for the mast , and installed it . I then stepped the Mast and installed the standing rigging. Next will be to do all the running rigging, ( Halyards and sheets )She is almost finished . And BTW, Like I had mentioned to Geoff, I May do the revised version sometime in the future, Here are the results

Hi Geoff, I had planned on doing a revised version once this one was finished, However in light of some new information ( regarding a different project ) I will be holding off on the rvised version for now Thank you Joe , I worked as a draftsman when I was in college, and this keeps me fresh for lofting full size boats ( and its fun ) Best Regards, Pete
  9. Last night, I made a revised Keel & Transom from my new drawings, I then did a mock-up using the rejected frames from the Buzzards Bay and 12 1/2 Proto-type , She lines up alot better than the proto-type,so My new numbers look good. Here are the results
  10. Thank you Michael, It's been a few years since I have done a full size build ,( about 15 ) and this is one that I have always wanted to build . So I am pretty excited about it , and next summer I will be Sailing ( its a win win ) Best Regards, Pete
  11. Today, I finished fairing the Hull down to the Keel. The next step will be to build the Keel ( Also a winged Keel ) and then a Final fairing. Here are the results
