G'day, Frank!  Just say when - we did steak on the grill last night since you never showed up!

The only thing is that we have to deal with the different time zones.

Most of the time that we can talk to you guy's are if it is in the evening with us and in the morning for you.

But believe me….IT IS FUN !!!!!

just another quick update...... I redid one of the  catheads to accept some rigging and attached the rope to the anchor rings. I'll try and get the other one finished up tonite. I was a little hesitant on the rope size, but I think this size 1.5 looks a little better than the size they included with the kit, it was really huge! . All input is welcomed

yours too Popeye.... yeah ,you're right , they were attached to the ship  ... I took them off  ... in doing so I used alcohol to loosen up the glue

which it did, but it also turned some of the wood white :( , but that's OK :D , the ship looks like hell anyway :D  :D

Frank,

Well done on the anchors and hawse.  Hmm.... interesting concept, take the catheads off to rig them and in the process, weather them some more.

Frank, your weathering is inspirational. The anchors are masterpieces in themselves and the rope you have used as replacement looks perfect. Finishing this is right around the corner for you now, huh?

awwwww,  when you put the catheads back on.....just touch it up with whatever finish you used......that'll take care of the white,  I think.   I wouldn't be able to do that on the Goth........they are nailed down!   hee......hee  {perhaps a wee bit 'o sand'in too}
