I'll be closing down my shipyard tomorrow AM and heading for cooler climates. This "closed" :10_1_10:picture is old 'cause I'm too lazy to take a new pic. See you all in 16 days.

Whats the difference between the PVA and the Elmers glue. I've been using Elmers for years and haven't had any troubles with it. Nut I'm always looking for a better way.

PVA is a type of glue - Elmers is a brand  name for their version of PVA glue.  Titebond is another brand name.  All PVA glues sold as wood glue work well and can be unbounded using hot water or isopropyl alcohol.

Shipyard open!

After 27 days, it feels good to glue some planks on. I'm at the part where there a lot of stealers and filler pieces so it's slow going.

He is back and when you gonna leave again?☺️

Still nice planking.

Next time when you come to Holland I'll be sure that i will have a hull without planking!

Finished the Larboard side yesterday but our site was down? There's one small strip under the rail, but I'll wait until just before I glue on the cap since the edge is fragile. Now onto the starboard side.

Sliver's gone! Now I'll sand the hull and micro-fill some very small spaces. Varnish would probably hide them, but I'll make some filler by sanding some left over planks for their sawdust. I know what you're saying..."shoulda' painted the hull like the instructions say." I just happen to like looking at un-painted wood.

I've been sanding the hull since yesterday. First with coarse paper now with fine. I have to be careful since I'm only sanding thin veneer which is very thin. I'm almost where I want the hull to be before a coat of varnish.
