I have not watched all of them all the way through yet, but from watching all the way through the first one, I learned a lot, your casual and honest approach is so refreshing.  I shall enjoy the rest of the videos at a leisurely pace. If you want to control the height of the bow it is necessary to reduce the bow Plank width. We suggest that 2” be taken out of planks 3 and 4. The taper should start at the bow and go back 6 to 8’

Superb work Kevin and so realistic. Yes, Perseverance is what you need in this hobby.... and you obviously have plenty. Very interesting videos, too.

 

I also like the non-common boats that you are building, as it provides us with a breath of fresh air from the period ships.

Working on the corrected model now. Its a pain, but you have to correct errors if the model you are building is portraying a historically accurate boat or ship.

BUT, I still think you could have found a small fruit tree or similar that you could have cut a small vee branch for the vee at the bow 😀
