It was a long time ago that i have an update.

 

Little update....

 

I have make the yards for the main mast and the mizzen mat.

Now i have to paint them and put all the blocks on.

And there are a lot of blocks!

Between work and guitar lessons i have to see when i can do that.

Now I know that i'm not alone in that !

No update yet because of the same old story and a new story  :D  :D

The old story you know and the new one is that I'm giving advice to Anja at her new build the Nuestre Señora del Pilar......

I may not toch the build, only advice her......

And yes, she has a build log of that.....with popcorn !

Here I'am again with an update.

All the yards are in place.

Also the sprit sail yard.

Now I have to pay attention when I turn the ship.

I can now go on with the standing rigging.

Anja is still trying to make the hammock netting for me.

But she has also her own build so it can take a while.

No problem at all because when the nettings are finished, it is easy to place them ( I hope ).

Still busy with the standing rigging ( almost finished with that)

And now i have seen a few problems...

Maybe my mistake or the drawings are that clear.

Next week i will make a phone call to Hennie to see if he has the same problem ( or solution)

Because Anja has an update yesterday I will also update mine......

 

I finished the running rigging.

Still one drawing to go .

Then the anchors and lights and of course the netting .

But it goes fast enough....

The ship is to big to get it in one shot so a few.....

Nice work Sjors! It's exciting getting close the the finish.

I love the blocks spread all over - looks like little bug-sailors crawling around at work on the rigging. ;-)
