Nice looking ports.  Enjoy the fine weather and working outside... we're having rain today which changes my plans to work outside.

As has been said already - nice job on them thar ports.  While on the other side of the continent from Mark, getting a chilly rain all day here today as well, so much progress in the shipyard.

Enjoy the summer weather tomorrow!

Thanks all of you !

@ Popeye,

It's not the meaning that the sills are sticking outside.......

The second planking goes over it and with some of the sills are just 1 mm falling inside.....

When I started the second planking I shall show you how it ( should ) be worked.

What have I done the last few days.......

The gun ports and sills on the port side are finished !!!!!!!

Yippie !!!

I also make the stern Fascia with the windows and paint it.

Behind the windows there is glazing , even if you not see it.

Behind the Fascia there is also planking.

I know that you don't see it ( or someone is coming with a flashlight and will see everything ) I know that it is there.

Thanks Augie,

It looks if the windows are not straight but it is an angle of the camera.

There are niches around the window frames so it just have to fit  inside.

I don't think that you can go wrong with it......

Hi Sjors, nice shots of the hull!  Sorry to bring this up, but I wonder if you have a couple of the windows upside down? (could just be the photo).  Looking at the window second from the left and the two on the right - seems they should gardually get thinner at the top to match the vertical moldings.

Cheers,

Jason

Hi Sjors,

Good fix mate but I think you need to look at the 2nd window from the left.

I hope I'm wrong and it's just camera angle.

Gun ports look great mate, well done.

Be Good

The power of the Internet....  It got Sjors windows right.  :)    Seriously... I love MSW for this very reason.  All those eyes help when we miss something.  Nicely fixed Sjors.

Thanks for the help with the turning windows Guy's !

When you are working with those things you can missed something like this.

Then it is nice to have a few ( 100 ) extra eyes to look at it  :D  :D  :D

The only thing is now that I have to take a close look with the camera and you will see all the imperfections of the paint......

I have not that steady hand that I want to play with the brush.

So I keep it this way........

It's gonna be on the back with a balcony and a few other things in front so hopefully you don't see it clearly anymore......

@ Theo,

Those columns are included in the kit.

I have see that there are still 30 of those columns left and 32 windows to do.

So sharp your glasses.
