Hi Mike

Thanks....errr electric, I think! Trust me, I was really trying to think how to make a working one for the foresail, but promptly gave up. Too hard, I muttered...many times...!

Cheers and I hope you'll soon be setting off on Maria for another nice day of sailing today.

Cheers

Outstanding, errr - - - outrages, incredible but - - umm - - did you put a propeller on the outboard Patrick?  Kidding my friend, that's some mighty fine miniature work.

Hah!  You caught me out, Piet!!!  Nope, no propellor yet.  I was thinking I might wait until after it's painted and then try to put one on.

Well, that's my excuse anyway!!!!

Very poor, Patrick ... the excuse ... You should have said it fell of, because you do not have enough body to glue such a heavy item on, and your pondering about making an 'axle' to fit it properly ... It remains an awesome job

Hi everyone, especially those who commented and hit the Like button.  Greatly appreciated!

Sorry Carl - you're right.  My problem is that I can't think fast enough and my honesty often gets the best of me!!!!  Oh well...

Anyway, tonight I painted the tender and added a bit more detail.  But alas, no propeller yet! Just saying.... ;)

I hope you enjoy these photos.

Cheers

Patrick

Hi BDGiantman, Mark, Kevin, Michael and David

Many thanks for your comments and compliments! Greatly appreciated.

Thanks, also to BDGiantman for the idea about the tender. My original intention was to show the tender being towed behind Symphony, which is pretty much on par with your suggestion. Great minds think alike!

Thanks everyone and all the best

Patrick

Hi everyone!

Tonight I added the gold cove-stripe along the sheer line of the hull and a black line above the waterline.  At the stern, I also added the gold pin-striping and also a small, but, simple motif to add that 'final' decorative touch to the transom.

I hope you enjoy the photos!

Cheers

Patrick

Hi Bob, Nick, Nigel, John, Piet and Dimitri and everyone who hit the Like button.

Thanks for your comments and compliments, all of which are greatly appreciated!

Well, there's really not much left to do, except adding the rudder, propellor and the lifeboats on the cabin roof. Last of all, will be the stand (as Nick has correctly pointed out).

The sooner I finish the above items, the quicker I can start on my new boat, "Majellan".

Thanks and all the best!

Patrick

Not bad for a freshman ;)  A very impressive build, Patrick. I'm sorry to see her finished, for it was a very interesting and surprising (from time to time) build. I'm glad I can look it up, to get some inspiration!!!

Cheers mate

Hi Patrick

What a great build - very inspiring.  Especially now, since I'm finally getting back to work on my Paragon build.  My surgery went very well, and now I've started 'surgery' on Paragon to correct some issues before going further.

I'm looking forward to watching your next project.

Looking forward to the Majellan build Patrick.  You are making my hands itch to start something small myself but I'mm much too busy with the Surabaya.
