  1. My glasses weren't enough anymore ... Now I need a magnifying glass to follow your build!!! Stunning detail Michael
  2. Right mister plastic wizzard ... fabulous fishing furnishings Would not have expected such quality out of plastic
  3. Pops, I've got one hughe problem with all a your builds ... it's hard to keep up and to keep track of your creative development ... You sometimes drive me nuts!!!
  4. I presume you should specify when and where the sailor would be employed and thus if wearing/not wearing shoes. A sailor in a John Company vessel is an entirely different sailor compared to a sailor pressed in HMS navy ... As a common sailor in HMS navy you would be required to pay the leaches for your slob clothing and shoes. Shoes would be a luxury in my view ... why pay if your soles would be hard enough ... You wouldn't get of th eship anyway ...
  5. From duckling to stunning swan ... One never knows what one can expect with popeye at the wheel ... Such creative a mind ...
  6. Yes MIchael, you should pass with flying colours. As far as I can see it cannot get any smaller ...!
  7. Good to hear Judy is up and about, nothing to restore oneself but a well loved activity. Again some marvelous work MIchael. I was nearly drooling like a dog over it's favourite bone, closed my mouth just in time.
  8. Nice touch the guilder/florin. It brings back memories!!! Great detail, very unexpected such clear, and crisp forms. Well done Kees
  9. Many happy returns!!! I wish my piles of junk looked like yours ... Could probably make a fortune out of it!
  10. Moving through the paces required to get it done with the (un)available materials. She's a tough cookie this one ... You have got some more undamaged pieces than I. Looking good ... curious as to the next results ...
  11. I'm glad Judy is back at home, first it is better for her health and second it's a relief to know you do not need to travel and be at risk (for Judy it will too I 'reccon') Stunning work on the sparkplugs, take care both of you
  12. Nice, nice, nice, very nice ... (thanks... for hitting the like button ) Give my regards to the admiral, she seems to be doin' a swell job keeping you in line ... If you use a mem'stick, check it for virsusses before you walk them over ... Another option - instead of a rather largish PC - is a second hand laptop ... even with a broken battery it'll still work on current ... when finished close it and pop it in a drawer, no need for an extra screen, keyboard, and mouse ... 'the space saver' Another advantage, you could use memory cards too ...
  13. Igor, Stunning detail, it is so sharp! Thanks for the brass tip. I got the steering wheel I needed from them. Thanks
  14. Jason, To me that is about the only possible solution. Since you have an inner and outer planking neither the rigidity, nor the strength of the hull will suffer. You could have inserted additional frame pieces on both sides of the port. Well done
