It's easy David, When you get up in the morning, just put a few planks into hot water. Then make some coffee and breakfast. Go on the forum to see what's going on. Answer a few posts, say something stupid or funny ( it depends on your mood if you sleep well) After 2 or 3 hours go to the workshop and bend your planks…... It works just fine!

Thank you guys for dropping in. And yes, I know that i have to look out for that "bird"…... But it was the only way to get the right angle. When I'm not building at her she goes high on the closet. Then for the cooperation between Spanish, French and in the future English…….. I see that you don't remember you history lessons well. I shall help you with that! The Dutch sailors are sailing all over the world and make there own city's like New York ( New Amsterdam) They make friends and when they are at the bar drinking with those Spanish, French and English sailors, they give them a sleeping potion and when they return at the ship……..It's a Dutch vessel! So the ships are make in the different country's but they are Dutch! We just let the people know ( Here on MSW) that they are origin from other country's but they are not. Now, how is that sound

After a hard day of work it's good to post some progress. And yes ……with pictures I make the bowsprit and attach him. It looks great ( I think) The part that goes up was a little bit tricky so i put a dowel in it. sand it and use some filler so you don't see a hole or something like that. Enough talking and picture time.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
