  1. Young folks, like Sjors, are always in a hurry. Take your time Sherry....once you make THIS decision it's tough to go back !!!!!!
  2. Floyd- She measures just about 32" from bowsprit tip to the end of the staysail boom that overhangs the stern and about 11 3/8" wide at the main yard. I like a little clearance so I'm going with 36x13 on the base (inner dimensions). Height, of course, will depend on your mounting setup.
  3. Hey David- thanks for re-posting. I like your replacing of the anchor stocks with wood. I'll be doing that as well in a few months.
  4. You're making some real progress there, Adam. Looks good! (We don't want any more mental scars!!!!).
  5. I sense that you're enjoying yourself to the extent that you made me smile. I'm sure your next addition will look as well as the capstan.
  6. Sorry Larry --- winter just really got here. I did just complete the winter maintenance schedule though ---- so I'm ready. Almost hate to see Spring come.....cuts down on building time!!!!!
  7. DUH! Here it is!!!!!! I'll be following. I don't care if you don't start until 2019..........but you MUST finish Rattlesnake first!!!!!!!!!
  8. WOW! Where did this come from?????????????????? Let me see if it's up as a log yet.
  9. Ron, I swear that color you've developed is getting richer as the days pass. And I'm glad to have those outdoor shots back......I'm the only guy in Colorado who knows what the weather in New Zealand is
  10. Welcome home, Roger. I'm very happy you've decided to share what photos you have with us and to continue as you complete your beautiful build. I know she's being built from scratch but I forgot the exact scale? Thank you my friend.
  11. Joe- Welcome back aboard! Glad you've decided to rejoin the fleet. I will be following.
  12. I'm assuming you scribed the lines first then stained. And the stain darkened the scribes 'automatically'. Is this correct or did you use something special to darken the scribes?
  13. Getting there Bob. But I'm not patting myself on the back until this one is in the case!
  14. Always requires a little 'adjustment'. Working out great. And thanks for re-posting the history!
