  1. Thanks David, I dont want to do as much sanding and fairing on the next one , so the profile needs to be correct Thank you Omega, I am pleased with the painted plank ends and varnished transom , I will still need to round off the top of the transom Thanks Jay, The Bow is fuller , and the stern did change as well , the original numbers got off somehow, ( I think I was to conservative with the bow section on the original ) I am old school and like to make the drawings by hand . ( plus I have no idea how to use CAD ) the new one looks alot better than the original, ( almost O.E. )LOL Best Regards, Pete
  2. It is Raining once again here , So finish work will have to wait. It was however a great day to re-loft the 12 1/2 , and create a new lines drawing with the corrections . I feel alot more confident going into the next 12 1/2 Build with the new plans ( the Scale is 3/4" = 1' - 0" ) Here are the results

  11. Today, I started by staining the Transom Cherry Red, Then apllied 2 quik thin coats of varnish ( we were in the 90's today so thing dried quik) ) after about 2 hours I was able to mask her off and spray 3 coats of flat white Krylon, as a barrier coat ,( sanding with 220 inbetween coats ) Hey I just realized that I made it to Captain ( That's pretty Cool ) then its only fitting that I worked on Capn' Nates 12 1/2 . Here are the results
  12. Thank you Robert, She is a beauty, This build has turned out alot better than I had hoped for , The only thing that is not Plan correct is the Cockpit floor , I raised it thinking that I could hide the radio gear in the bilge, as it turns out she is a bit small for raidio gear .However I will still take her Sailing . Best Regards, Pete
  13. Thank you Bob, Getting closer to Sailing Thanks David , This one is right on the money,( I have a full set of plans for the Buzzards Bay 14 ) When I was Talking to Geoff , I was refering to my 12 1/2 proto-type, The 12 1/2 is the Boat that I intend to do a 1 : 1 build, I am still developing the Plans, and have another model to do, once I have made all the corrections Best Regards, Pete
