    Welcome to MSW, Rick. Just a suggestion here. Take your original prints to an architectural copy shop or possibly one of the many copy shops/office supply shops and see if they can copy them to the exact size you need.

    Welcome to MSW, Max. I'm looking forward to your build. If you don't have it, I recommend getting a copy of Hahn's book "Ships of the American Revolution" (going from memory on this title). She's an interesting ship, IMO. I built one but for "reasons" never finished it but I still have the plans and hope I live long enough to finish the projects currently underway and then do another Licorne and this time, finish it.

    I believe that article was removed as there were issues with it. But I don't remember what the issues were. Someone might have it in their files though.

    Many choices on ship's boats. As for painting what you have, look to other logs for your model for starters. Alternately, you could look to the sponcors here on MSW and see what they offer in the way of small boats.

    Interesting kit, James. That appears to be a rather unique model with dual overhead cams and seems to have 4 valves per cylinder. A racing motor by per chance?

    My heart goes out to you and Maggie, Kieth. Too many of us, myself included, are staring that situation in the face and it appears that resistance is futile. I forget who said it but it applies: "Old age ain't for sissies." Meantime, the only thing I can say is to try to just go one day at a time.
