  1. Welcome to MSW, Stu.
  2. Welcome to MSW, Bill. I do suggest you open a build log as it's a great way to get help and meet others.
  3. Your figures came out very well. Use of a 3D printer shouldn't get you any flack. I used the search feature at the top of page (make sure to change the setting to "this forum" and used "figures". Quite a few hits actually and I'm pretty sure there's more in other sub-forums.
  4. Welcome to MSW, Georgios.
  5. I too would like to see your next builds. Sorry but I missed the last line about them.
  6. Nice rework, Phil. From the earlier photos I thought you were going to have a bear of a time but everything came together.
  7. Well back, Ron. You Prinz Eugen is looking good from here. I'm surprised that the hull is vacuum formed.
  8. Help may come from different places, indeed, OC. Looking great.
  9. I used to see those types a lot when I running (driving) across the pass to work everyday. I figured either they were rubber-necking or just too scared to go much faster. 50 MPH speed limit except for the hairpin turns. I usually ran it (when I could) at 60, though I did get pulled over one time for going a bit faster than that.
  10. That's Ok, Lou. That leaves more popcorn of the rest of us. Sorry. I thought it was already here.
  11. I'm going to add this a bit... Please don't post your email or personal identification (address, etc.) but use the PM to Hubert. We do get crawled by a lot of bots and you really don't want your personal info out in the wild of the Internet.
  12. Thanks for the tutorial, Marc. I've read several tutorials by others, but yours seems to be clearer in the steps and methods.
  13. Thanks OC. I didn't realize the calibers or the layout.
  14. Ah.... Jack, you only need to cut one slot as that's an exploded view.
  15. What did they have, OC? A long barrel one and short barrel one? Nice work on them. I would have thought the ammo box would have been bigger...
  16. That's some good news about your mom, Mark. Too many of those homes seemed to let it get out of control too fast.
  17. We have a local mom & pop hobby shop that's stayed open. They have a few wooden ship kits, lots of plastic kits, railroad and RC plus paints, tools, etc. Reduced hours, limited amount of folks allowed inside. The other one is Hobby Lobby which I won't set foot in and it's been closed for the virus. I think it still is.
  18. Yeah... I thought of that after I signed off. Brain fart.
  19. That would work, but it scorch the veggies. Noisy Jack. Same with a bazooka... The neighbors will complain. You need something stealthy like a cross bow
  20. Hi Brian, Welcome to MSW. I spent 20 years in the St. Louis area. Enjoyed it. I hope you'll start a build log.
  21. That is a wonderful workshop, Kenna. As a suggestion/alternate point of vew, for rigging, no CA as it becomes very brittle. If you decide to put her in water, you should use shellac. If not going into water than either the shellac or a 50/50 mix of white glue and water.
  22. I think you meant "not" a tail dragger, Denis, since it has a nose wheel.
  23. A lovely figurehead that I'm sure the Captain will be proud to have the bow.
