  1. I agree with the higher water line. It does look better to the eye. The green patina looks great too. I hope when I get to the point of plating a hull I can replicate that look. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress and learning from it.
  2. Great work Chuck. I assume those are the weathering powders used by armor modelers. They has bunches of colors.

  9. I'm doing pretty well. I've been away from the workbench because of family issues but I'm starting to get back to it now. I still need to build my skill before I tackle the Washington though.

  13. What a great historical subject. I will watch this with great interest. Have you read To the Shores of Tripoli by A.B.C Whipple? It's a great read on the subject and goes into much detail about Presley O'Bannon and his exploits.
