Hi Sherry,

Of course I'm the last one…..

Great job on the lighting !

Look a like a romance  :D  :D  :D

That's why you go to the cottage….ahum….. :D

No worries about the popcorn machine, I cover it for you and clean it , so when you are back you only have to plug in.

Enjoy your stay and behave !!!!

Adriaan,

There are 6 or 7 popcorn machines.

Danny makes a jig for carriages and I make a jig for popcorn machines. :D

Lovely, Sherry. I really like your lighting. Enjoy your holiday and I hope you get plenty of that "rest" thing! Please do let me know what that's like. :D

Sjors: Thank-you! I always l-o-v-e the cottage. ;)
Thanks for looking after the popcorn machine. I will have internet at the cottage, so I will "check-in" once in a while.

Behave??? How does that work? :P  :P

Michael: Thank-you! I definitely will enjoy the break!

Grant: Thank-you as well! I know what you mean about the "rest" thing....hoping to find some of "it" at the cottage.   If I could discover a way to "can it" and sell it - I'd be wealthy!! 3d-canape.gif  ete.gif

John: Thank-you too! I'm just happy that I thought to add it in the beginning...it's not the kind of addition you can make later on, without difficulty.

Great looking lighting, and excellent work on the stern.

Good to know you also participate in that great tradition of going north to feed mosquitos.

Where abouts do you call paradise? We're at the western edge of the Kawarthas, just off of hwy 35.

I'm 1.5 hrs from the Eastern edge of Algonquin Pk. My son and I frequently go interior camping at Traverse Lk., Achray Lk. and Sec Lk. Beautiful area that I get to use my cedar strip canoe. We were just getting ready to head out on the water when my son spotted this little fawn swimming toward us, obviously distressed, came within 5 feet of my son's outstretched hand! Unbelievable! Enjoy....Steve44360_487767183241_4687999_n.jpg

Tim: Thanks! I like the look of lights on a ship, so.........now there are lights. :)

Popeye: Thanks as well! Hopefully there's never a wiring malfunction and the "fireworks" become real!!! :o  :P

Andy: Thanks!
Sad part is, I don't have to go north to feed the mosquitos or blackflies. I'm just one of those people that seems to have a neon sign over my head that says "dinner's on - come and get it"!!!
Our northern paradise is Tobermory. We have vacationed in the Kawarthas and it's beautiful too.

Steve: Algonquin Park is another beautiful part of our province....been there as well. Awwww - great shot of the fawn!

Hi Sherry, that little fawn is really cute.  They really are so much fun at that age and size.  I'm from far south Texas (near Mexico), and have seen many of them like this, some even can become pets.  Keep up the nice work on the ship.

Looks idyllic Sherry. I just showed the Admiral your scenic photo and she wants to know if you'd like some house guests! :D

I'm back!!!

Augie: Never caught a single fish...they must have been as hot as we were and couldn't bother biting. The fish you saw "rising" was only a mirage I guess :P ...the only thing rising was the temperature. :o  36 degrees Celsius (96.8 F)

Sjors: I wish that was our backyard! :D  Time to dust off the popcorn machine and set it up again.

Grant: It was idyllic...hated to leave there to come home to reality. I can't blame your Admiral...whenever I look at the pictures I want to go back!!!

Okay, now back to the shipyard :) - when I can steal a few minutes, I'll be continuing the second planking. Lots of other work to do, and of course I don't want to miss out on summer activities...it's far too short here. :(

Hi sherry,

It's good to see you back  :D  :D  :D  :D

Easy with the vacuum cleaner….you make a lot of dust !

And trow away the old popcorn.

There is some fresh one in the basement….

Hi Sherry,

I'm new here at MSW and immediately stumbled over your building report. I think it's great that you try you at the San Felipe. It is a very nice ship, if it they ever was does not matter. I have built from 2004-2009 according to the plans of Lusci 1:60 scale. It was my first scratch. I then created my own drawings, as the Lusci plan was very inaccurate. Keep it up and it is a very nice ship. Here are a few pictures of my San Felipe.

Regards Kay
