A Lorch Micro-Mill that never was ...
WackoWolf replied to wefalck's topic in Modeling tools and Workshop Equipment
I always learn something new everyday. Thank you "wefalck" -
I have there planes and love them, like people say you get what you pay for. Lee Valley tools are a good investment.

Now that is beyond beautiful. I am hopping that after the knee surgery that sometime this summer I will go and see Kevin in England and then go to the NMM and see all the excellent stuff that is still shown there and of course the Victory and the Warrior. But I will go there in 2017 that is for sure.

Nice idea Mike. Thank you for sharing -
If anything is going to go wrong, don't worry it will. Let us know how you make out. You have a nice idea, but will it work without to many problems is the big question.

I was thinking of the same place for the bench. One needs to look outside to see what the kids are doing to each other LOL

A Horse trailer, now thinking about it makes a lot of sense, they are high and the big thing is the ramp. Thanks for the tip. I will have to remember that one.

When we were younger and back then we could do a lot of things, I was the same way when I was in the Air Force, but that's not the case now LOL. Just be careful with your back, that you don't want to hurt, I got hurt when I was in the service and had surgery and that didn't work out. Try and take your time. Best of luck.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
