  1. G'day I've have both the electric plank bender as well as the crimping type. Take my advice and buy the electric. It's far superior because it will bend the timber evenly, while the crimper bends it on the crimped joint only. You will have to do many crimping only 1mm or so apart to get a smooth bend. Doing this there's a large change of breakage. All the best on what you decide. Greg
  2. G'day DanDitto from my last post (to save me time. LOL) I assume that you made the railings on the boat deck as per your incredible way you did the vent on the stack? keep up the great work, both on your model and your log. Havagooday Greg
  3. G'day Patrick I can't wait for you to get into this unbelievable project. You are so brave to do this on a tiny winny scale. Your front row is huge, but I want the centre seat mate. Havagooday mate Greg
  4. G'day Carl I think we are using different dictionaries because what you called ATTEMPS. 'By joves' I wish I can do that in my attempts! Greg

  7. Can't agree more! Are you going to do the same treatment as before? Flawless piece of artmanship, if I can tell you that my friend. Greg
  8. G'day Dave Great job/progress! Can't fault a thing. I've done my air and light ports on my as well......bloody tedious. I took a log of my times and would you believe it was 48 hours to make the surrounds and lid. I'm cheating with the hinges, they will be fixed and all are dummies. Cheers mate Greg
