G'day Danny Another display of excellence, what more can I say! Robin, Danny's log as I can see has the most step by step photos anywhere. I know what you mean I think, you would like more because you don't want it to stop! Who does, NO ONE! Cheers Greg

Patrick. Dito to all comments. I still can't fathom how well you can do the details on that scale! It's mind boggling! Cheers Greg

G'day Patrick I can't believe how much details you have put in the boat and the sails at that scale! Tell us the truth, you have a huge giant hands 10 times the size of a normal hand to hold your boat. That is the only way I can believe you can put that details into your build. Cheers Greg

Another great idea. What's the scale used? Greg

G'day Steve I agree with Pat 100%. You should put your idea on http://modelshipworld.com/index.php/topic/4679-the-kit-bashers-guide-to-the-galaxy/. it's for all the great ideas to help others, and yours is on top of the pile. Cheers Greg

G'day Denis I agree with Piet 110%. There's a saying in Australia: the difference between your your AG and the other boats " are like chalk and cheese". They have a long way to go to be anywhere as good as yours. As Piet said they are "naked in comparison. " Cheers Greg

G'day Denis We were quite lucky! No damage except for some spoilt food from the freezer. Trees are down all around us, but thanks to God not on our house. Roads has been flooded and sadly about 6 people has lost their lives. It was at cat 2 cyclone. We never had a cyclone in our area before, too far south. I think it's the climate change. Thanks for asking. Cheers Greg

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
