This is where the H&S .15mm nozzle will come in handy.

It seems fast but it’s not, it’s mainly production line work that appears to come together quickly at the end.

Very nicely done Carl. The paintwork is wonderful

That would be a great model! I’m not going to transfer over to paper though...
I was wondering how they would retrieve fliers if the landed in the sea (thus the Schnellboots) as you would not last long in the water up that end of the globe,

Ouch alright. Somewhat insane. Would’ve been nice.

People do more and more sea scapes now, and I think that even if perfected it, (the water that is) I would have to spend thousands on staffing the ship yet alone the space it would take.
I’ve spent most of today doing up the air wings. The plans say to file off the cockpit and replace with PE, and it would require buying extra PE, and I’m not convinced I particularly like the look.
As you you can see, the flight deck is going to be busy

The kit wouldn’t convert, it would be too beamy. Yamato is a lot more flat bottomed

Probably only the Stukas and 109’s as apparently the other aircraft were out of production by the early 1940’s. The Kubelwagon? Of course! It’s there! The little motorcycle too.

I thought I’d add a little bit of extra detail
it took about 3 days, I wanted to perhaps do a seaplane that would act as a recovery or guard plane like they have helicopters, but the only one I really liked is about $100USD for a 1/350 plane that is not with it, so a fast patrol boat it is.
Came out quite nicely, bashing the guns.

This is a BF109. The panels are recessed as is the canopy. New trick, painted the canopy black with acrylic then gave it a green wash with Oils that bring up the metal parts are a brush is not thin enough. Then a light wash to bring out the panels. Next will be some light dry brushing to bring out some colour.
Once thats sone on all of the aircraft I’ll add decals them weather
