  1. i like the photographs from ships with the unpainted PE, as well as the painted. However the unpainted versions do have an unpainted ship as well. I wouldn't know if the remainder of the ship being painted wouldn't make it look strange with the bare PE ... Looking forward to your plastic en PE journey
  2. Yessssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's more like it ... Add a Nieuport to it, and you are complete
  3. Naturally, and it swivels too ... it's a 1 € cent in the backgroud, isn't it! Goodness ... it's small
  4. Looks rather grand ... although i would let the Dr 1 should fly too. Prop looks good! It suddenly struck me ... Any reason why you left the left side of both plaines uncovered, and didn't alternate?
  5. A very commendable build, Mike. I like how it turned out ... half naked you should let those two battle it out at the ceiling, you'll have some noise whilst building the next challenge
  6. I presume you didn't cast them yourself, although it wouldn't surprise me if you did. Those look a lot more sturdy than the ones bent from wire ... very nice, and crisp looking ... a real asset to your build Cheers
  7. Roger, To get it clear for my layman's "brain", by increasing the length of the rope the required power is diminished, something like the leverage one gets from a longer pole vs a short one? Cheers
  8. Nearly finished ... Nice drawing table in the rear. Wouldn't it have been more sturdy when you'd cut those parts from one piece of wood? It just occured to me ... can you still get inside the mill, to switch lightbulbs e.a.? Of course, the door ...
  9. After this extraordinary feat, Frank, those push boat controls will be a stroll in the park ... This is truely amazing detail ... Cheers
  10. A room with a view ... Nice an' easy does it, Marcus. I wondered ... how will you finish the underlayment, as it has somewhat of a coarse in finish ...
  11. Another little gem finished. You are gathering quite a fleet! I am curious how you will tackle the next one. Any drawings found yet? or is by your minds eye ...
  12. French ... judas But I forgot to tell you, you are doing another wonderful job on these dual barrel turrets, Scott
  13. Don't fret Mike. They look as if they were meant to be this way ...
  14. Remeber @Adrieke emigrated to downunder ... he build a sternwheeler with a winding staircase ... worth a look I would say ...
