  2. Let me take a seat .. I just caught up ... my goodness, this is a very nice build you have on your hands ... lots of wonderful details a.o. ... dunno how on earth I missed out on this one. All parts are stunning Bob ... you've got a treasure on your hands!!! Cheers
  3. Very nimble fingers you've got, Nenad. They do look very good. It's quite a feat on that scale Cheers
  4. Glenn, You are positive it won't run ... it looks ... so real ... scale doesn't come to mind when you look at it ... it seems 1:1 untill you see her on those blocks or with some other reference material ... Miraculous ... Cheers
  5. Killing me softly with his ...... the suspense is difficult to bear, Piet ... you shouldn't torture people so much ... there should be a law against it!!! Can hardly wait ... Cheers
  6. Mark, Despite Robin's findings on the coat, you have made an enormous improvement - the coat too, as it was missing in your initial setup ... To take another try at that rudder coat seems the rght thing to do ... however, have you considered why the rudder coat might be left off in those other builds ... maybe it had to do with the unnatural look at the scale due to the limitations of the fabric ... you might consider a cooking adage: If it's not good (enough), don't put it on the plate ... would you really miss it if it's not on ... Cheers
  7. Nearly missed your build ... so don't mind me grabbing a chair and join in ... so far your build is moving fast forward Cheers
  8. Druxey, Can't wait to see how you will solve that fiddly bit of sculpting ... it's getting better with every post you make ...
  9. Happy birthday my friend. Enjoy the day youngster!!! You seem to get more vital with every year!!! Cheers ... to you
  10. Interesting item, that spreader, Russ I wouldn't expect a spreader formed or used that way ... maybe because I'm used to those flimsy looking metal spreaders on the average sailing boat ... Cheers
  11. Håkan, A very commendable build. I like the way she turned out, and especially her location and use ... Well done Cheers
  12. Now it's getting confusing with all the Igors ... whom will I be talking to next ...
  13. Druxey, The background looks like watercolour ... won't that pose a problem when you glue it on ...? What will you do with the edges, for those will show the paper's colour, and you used navy (prussian blue?), cobalt(?), and a petrol like colour layers ...
  14. Nenad, You should really make it to scale .. oeps, you did ... it looks great for someone who's just playing around ... Cheers
  15. Jack, She is looking good ... I find it a pitty with these models those deck beams won't be visible after planking ... Cheers
  16. David, Your attempts aren't laughable ... the merely won't mesure up to Ed's final result ... which isn;t surprising ... I would say about my chainplates in general that I got stuck in the attempt ... didn't get passed it so to say Cheers
  17. Slow but very good!!! Better than quick and sloppy, Jose ... take your time ...
  18. You are right, time to :) :) ... You've managed another feat! And as I predicted no for legged friend's marks on it. It does look oustanding, Mark. You've got the right to be happy and proud, as you have managed to improve on yourself jet again ... - you wouldn't want to have another go to see if you can out do yourself even more ...(?) - That rudder coat will be a piece of cake... you've got plenty of space to put it in the right spot ... Looking forward to the next step ... wonderful ... Cheers
