  1. Thank you all for the tips and trucs and the likes ! It seems I'll be on the right teach with those plates...... I have removed some plates and re-place them because it was not what I want to see...... Mobbsie told me that he has about 600 plates as left overs from his build, so I can continue with removing and re-placing If I'm to short of plates, he will send me his spare ones....Thanks for that Mobbsie !!!!!!! @ Mobbsie, Yes, I have not forget the brush handle. Yes, I know the plates are thin. Yes, I know that it is the first time for me. Yes. I say Hi to Anja. Yes, I'm enjoy the build. Yes, I'll be careful with sharp knifes. Yes, I'll be good.   4. Thanks Doris and Vivian, @ Doris, I'm still doing my best . It's not that perfect as your models but I'm happy with it ! She is now on hold for the moment because I'm gluing copperplates on the Agamemnon. And relaxation at work is so true at the moment. No kids because they have holiday, not much traffic, just relax driving.... @ Vivian, I'm not that busy...... 2 builds at the same time is just nice. When something is not working at the moment on one model. I can switch to the other one ! It only take twice more time to finish them
  5. Doris, Welcome home After a long break you are now in the highest gear ? Finishing one and goes further with the other one..... Thanks for the pictures with the Dolphins....just love those animals ! Your rigging and blocks looks just awesome !!!!! Now we can enjoy your build further....
  6. Augie, That's correct. They need close to each other otherwise the plates are coming up. i use glue that I've got from Mobbsie. He also use it. Maybe you have to look at the overall picture when it's finished. Then I can remove the plates that are not correct. But we will wait for other comment. I have the late shift again so I have to go to work in one hour...
  7. Vivian, That's a nice tool you've got there ! Use it and make us happy Nice hole at the deck..... It will be covered up by a grating ???? And ask the electrician in the neighbourhood what is the course of the mile function..... Last picture is a great one !!!!!!!
  8. I have taken the first stap ! The first copperplates are on it...... I thought is was a easy job but that was a mistake. I have removed now i think about 12 plates.... I was not happy with the result. But we have the first part. Please give me your comment on that!
  9. Thank you all for your comment, tips and trucs and likes ! Coppering.......yep. I have the feeling that 13982 members are looking over my shoulder how I bring this to an end.... But no pressure !!!!! I know it's gonna be the first time for me but I have great examples from Mobbsie, Kevin, Lawrence and a few more and of course the help from you all But all those members has still wait a little longer. I make the preparations like the diluted PVA and put it on the hull. I'm also working on the standard. I don't want to damage all those plates when they are on it. So.....when I placed the first plates I'll shall make a picture....but still no pressure !!!!
  10. I hope so Kevin, But the coppering has to wait a little. I try to figure out what I'm gonna to do with the standard......and work of course.......
  11. The paint job is done !!!!!!!! At the end i know that I have to touch up all the time but ok. And now we can begin at the next challenge......coppering !

  13. Now I know where that fishing rod has his purpose..... A few lines on it and they eat every day fresh fish And they are coming at both sides ??????? You really need a big fish tank to display that !

  18. Maybe an option is to drill a little hole at the cascabel and glue an eyebolt in it and paint it black ? That's what I want to do with the cannons of the Aggy where the breech rope goes true it..
